Now offering coaching for writers!

Hi everyone, I'm excited to share a new offering in my coaching business: one-on-one support during your writing journey.

Who is this service for? I work with writers who are hitting blocks in their process of writing, editing, and publishing. Whether it's procrastination, self-doubt, overthinking, or imposter syndrome, I can help. You can be a seasoned writer, brand new, or somewhere in the middle. You can write fiction, poetry, memoirs, scripts, or blog posts.

Maybe the first draft is taking way longer than you expected. I'll help you create consistent habits so you can get it done on a deadline.

Maybe you're getting discouraged from rejections. I'll inspire you to try again and again until you find the right agent or publisher.

Maybe you have no idea where to start with self-publishing your memoir. I'll walk you through the process while also helping you build your own resourcefulness.

What does it entail? We'll meet weekly for 6 months. During our coaching package, I will help you understand and overcome your writing blocks, offer resources and tools, and keep you accountable.

Our work together will be a mixture of coaching and education. I will coach you so you create the behavior change you're seeking and build the self-belief you need to be a successful writer. I'll also teach you more about the craft of writing and the world of publishing.

Why am I the right coach for you? During my time as a writer, I've written thirteen novels, four novellas, and a variety of short stories. I self-published eleven of those books under two pen names and had my short stories included in anthologies and literary journals.

My last novel took me four months in total to complete, from start to finish. That was after a seven year break from completing anything. I completely understand what it's like to face a block when you sit down to write, and I can walk you through it, step by step.

I've been coaching for two years as a financial coach. I've learned how to help people reach their goals through action plans, accountability, and support.

One of my clients said, "Emily has a great set of skills, very resourceful and has the wonderful gift of being able to help others. She is someone I was able to share my ideas and goals, and she guided me and helped me create an action plan to be able to accomplish my goals."

Are you ready to get started? The first step is scheduling a consultation call on my calendar:

During this call, I'll learn where you're at and where you want to be. Then I'll share my process and how it'll bridge the gap. You can ask all the questions you have about this coaching package, about me, or about writing in general.

Even if we don't decide to work together, this hour will help you feel inspired to move forward with your writing and reach your goals. I can't wait to see what you create.

Hey there, You're receiving this email because you signed up for my newsletter when I was offering life coaching with mindfulness as one of my main tools. I learned so much over the last few years, whether through the Enneagram, books on spirituality like The Power of Now, and life coaching tools, but I will no longer be offering life coaching. If I decide to offer coaching specifically to writers again in the future, you'll be the first to know. Right now though, I am focused on my fiction...

I took a seven year break from writing books. In my teens and my early 20s, I was a fervent writer. I couldn't get enough. My mind was full of stories, and most of my spare moments were dedicated to writing these down. Out of the many ones I finished, I self-published seven novels and four novellas, I had book signings at bookstores, and I frequented writing groups. Then in 2016, my life completely changed. A series of shifts and breaks in my relationships and spiritual life led me to a...

Earlier this year, I added one word to my business cards. That single word caused a total mindset shift: writer. I decided when making business cards for my life coaching practice that my writing was just as important to highlight. I've written stories since I was very young and through my twenties, I wrote thirteen novels, four novellas, and a variety of short stories, poems, essays, and blog posts. After declaring myself a life coach AND a writer, I started telling more people about my...
